Happy New Year!
We are happy to welcome back the students, if only just for a couple of days. This is a nice transition for us, allowing teachers time to reteach procedures and review before diving in to regular coursework next Monday.
Catholic United Financial Schools Raffle
We will kick of our big raffle in just a couple of weeks. Please take note and plan ahead for selling tickets. This is a great fundraiser for us – 100% profit and we are fortunate to have the opportunity to participate. We encourage all families to share this web poster on your Facebook page. This is a great opportunity for families who have not yet met the $1300 fundraising requirement for the year, but all families are encouraged to help sell tickets and make this a success.
Catholic Schools Week
If you are planning ahead and would like to assist with events during CSW, be advised that we plan to visit businesses in Litchfield on Wednesday 1/29 and grades 2-5 will go to Powder Ridge on Thursday 1/30. We’ll need lots of helpers, so let me know if you are able to join us for either or both days.

Alumni and/or Parent Testimonials
We are looking for more short testimonials to be published before/during CSW. We welcome all parents and alumni to write a short (1-2 sentence) blurb about what you love about the School of St. Philip.
Also, I am hoping to find a couple of brave individuals who would be willing to give a short testimonial at a weekend Mass. Let me know if you are interested or send me names of people you think would be good candidates for such an opportunity.
NWEA Testing
Our winter testing window is scheduled for 1/14 - 1/24.
