May Crowning and Living Rosary

Please join us Monday, May 6 at 6:30 at St. Philip Church for our annual May Crowning and Living Rosary prayer service. This is an important celebration where we honor Mary, recognize our First Communicants, and pray together as a school community. All students are asked to attend so we have enough people for each student to pray one prayer. Forms are going home today for this event. We also encourage alumni and parents to help if possible.

The second grade students will serve as honor guard for the May Crowning, so they are asked to wear their First Communion attire.

Adopt-a-Highway

Each fall and spring our school volunteers to clean a stretch of Hwy 22. This year we will do this service project on Saturday, May 4 beginning at 8:30 AM. We need many hands to make this go quickly and smoothly. If possible, we encourage you to sign up ahead in the school office, but if not, join us that morning!

Graduation Day--May 24, 2019 at 9:00 AM

Each year our 4th grade class helps prepare brunch for our 5th grade class. This year we have a very small 4th grade class, so I am wondering if there are parents in other grades who would be willing to help out. We will need a few egg bakes and helpers to set up, serve, and clean up. If you are able to help, please contact the office.

First Communion Sunday

Please remember in your prayers our 2nd grade students who will receive Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time on May 5. May they come to know Jesus more and more each time they come to the table.

5th Grade Pilgrimage and Lock In

The end of the year brings lots of exciting events to our graduating class. We have the annual Lock In scheduled for May 3-4. Thanks to Mrs. McGraw and Mrs. Lenz for their leadership! We will also be taking our pilgrimage throughout the diocese on May 10. This is a great opportunity to visit other churches, meet Bishop LeVoir in his office, and see the beauty and magnitude of the diocese and our Catholic Church.

Family Life Speaker -- Friday, May 3 at 12:45

4th and 5th grade parents are invited to join us on 5/3 for the family life and puberty presentation by Chris Codden. Her talk will serve to wrap up our lessons here at school, and we trust, will enhance your discussions at home. Please join us if you are able. Just our 5th grade students will attend this presentation, but we encourage 4th grade families to come as well.
