CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: FAITH, EXCELLENCE, SERVICE

This Sunday is the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. Due to COVID and concerns for health and safety, we will not be going on a field trip next week. Instead the teachers and I are planning a special Spring Celebration.

We have planned daily themes and activities to make Catholic Schools Week special for the students. Each day next week the students will have a theme for what to wear and a fun activity.

Monday - Pajama Day with a movie and popcorn

Tuesday - Wacky Dress Day with a scavenger hunt

Wednesday - Hat & Shades Day with a picnic lunch and root beer float

Thursday - Jersey Day with board games

Friday - Dress Up Day with Bingo

CONFERENCES

Sign up for conferences is now open. They are February 16th and 18th. If you have not signed up please do so right away. Mrs. Roers sent out the link earlier this week. Here it is if you need it:

PRIZE DRAWING

We held our first of five drawings for student prizes yesterday. Our winners were Kindergartener Justin McCann, 4th grader Spencer Valiant, and 5th grader Jacquelyn McCann. CONGRATULATIONS! For every book sold the student's name goes into the drawing. Who will win next week? Get those tickets in to get your name(s) in the drawing. If you need additional tickets, contact Mrs. Roers!

TESTING CONTINUES

We will finish up our NWEA testing this week. Please continue to encourage your child to do their best, have them get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast. Test results will be available at conferences.

BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS

We have one 1/2 birthday being celebrated next week. Cate Louwagie (8-5). Happy full birthday in August, Cate!

REPORT CARDS

Report cards are being sent home today. The teachers have worked hard to give you important information about your child. Look for them.
