We have received a grant from the Minnesota Independent School Forum (MISF) for some terrific new STEM technology.
This program consists of two components: a visit to our school by a Bakken educator which took place on Thursday, Feb. 21 for our K-2 classrooms, and follow-up online teacher professional development that will help support implementation of this new programming.
Our school received a classroom set of Bee-Bots and the latest edition of Blue-Bots which can be programmed with our iPads. This is a pilot program that is supported by grants to MISF from 3M and the Schott Foundation and is valued at well over $1,000 per school. We are excited and grateful for this new addition to our STEM programming! We will continue our Lego STEM programming and supplement our primary level STEM curriculum with the Bee-Bots.
