SPRING FEVER

Just a reminder that we go outside every day unless it is raining. The weather changes throughout the day and it is hard to tell just what it will be so please have your child dressed appropriately. An extra set of gloves is a great comfort when little hands have been outside for 20 minutes.

SPRING CARNIVAL

Traditionally, each January during Catholic Schools Week the entire school goes on field trips. Like so many things this year, it did not happen. We filled the week with other activities and really enjoyed the week dedicated to Catholic education. We have begun planning a spring carnival for the entire student body as a school-wide celebration. We know (PRAY) that the weather will be more cooperative than in the winter. It is being held the afternoon of the May 25th. Mary Lenz and Nancy McGraw are helping to plan the event. We would love your help as well. We will be having carnival type games – think ring toss, fishpond etc. – and will need prizes. We are looking for cans and liters of pop, large and small bags of chips, unpopped popcorn (for the popcorn machine),blow pop suckers and tootsie pops, water balloon balloons, small bottles of bubbles, etc. If you can provide any of these, please send them with your child to school. Part of the day will be lunch outside. Our menu will be hotdogs, fruit, chips and water. We welcome donations for lunch as well. The day of the carnival, we will need purchased cupcakes for the cake walk, hotdogs and buns, fruit and cases of water. We know that not everything will be donated and so we are asking each family for a free will donation to help cover the cost of lunch and things that we need

to purchase. We will keep you posted as the day nears.

Nearing the end of April means May is just around the corner. The month will be fun. We have 3 graduations being planned - D.A.R.E, kindergarten and 5th grade. We also have May Crowning and NWEA testing. As always, the days are full.

We have a few yearbooks left for sale. They are $10 each. It you would like one, please send the money to school and we will send the book home with your child.
